Backstory
Mikal Bridger is the older brother of Ezra Bridger and the eldest son of Ephraim and Mira. He is 15 years older than his brother. The Bridger Brothers are far apart in age do to that their mother had fallen ill to sickness when Mikal was 3, and was unable to have another child; until 12 years later Mira was healthy enough to bare children again. When the Empire took control of the galaxy, Mikal had to grow up fast and a get a job as a tradesman to help look after his family. When the empire took his and Ezra's parents away Mikal had to work extra shifts and see less of Ezra to support the both of them.

During an off-world trading job Mikal was offered a new job by a group of Freelancers in need of a new pilot and solider for their mercenary missions. He had took the job do to it paid over 4 times more than his old one, although having little combat experience. Mikal's new work meant he would unable to see Ezra as often if not at all. He was trained to fight in the electrostaff, hand-to-hand combat, basic medical knowledge, and speak a number of different alien languages.

Throughout his time as a Freelancer Mikal becomes the captain of his own crew aboard the famed Ebon Hawk, which Mikal won in a game of sabacc from a smuggler. How the smuggler got a hold of Darth Revan's flagship is unknown. He is also a spy in the Galactic Empire. He also adopted 6 years old Twi'lek orphan named Tann (meaning hope in Twi'leki). Mikal is currently teaching Tann to speak galactic basic, as she can only speak and understand her native language of Twi'leki. Tann addresses Mikal as A'kei(can mean son or in this case a male clan member(I don't know the Twi'leki word for father)), and the other crew members of the Ebon Hawk as Ay'kou (family members who are non-Twi'leks).

The Bridger Brothers do finally get to see each-other again While Mikal is happy to see his little brother again, Ezra resents his bother for feeling that Mikal abandoned him on Lothal.
